A tireless traveller and a lover of languages, culture and cultures, Emanuela holds a Master’s degree in international relations and languages from Strasbourg University (France). Originally from Sicily, she has studied and worked in France, Belgium, Germany and the Philippines. The latter, in particular, has left a special mark on her, as intense as the bright sun when it sets on the rice fields. She firmly believes that beauty and happiness are to be found in the little things. When she’s not on the hunt for stories to tell for the UWP website and for a photography project, she works as a translator and is currently looking for a corporate job in international communication.
