Guebuza said that in spite of the situation of Sadjunjira, he is ready to talk with Dhlakama

(AGI) – Maputo, Oct 30 – Mozambique’s President Armando Guebuza said on Wednesday that he is willing to meet Mozambique National Resistance Movement (RENAMO) leader Afonso Dhlakama.

Answering queries about a “Guebuza-Dhlakama” peace dialogue at a rally in Manica province, Guebuza said that in spite of the situation of Sadjunjira, he is ready to talk with Dhlakama. He added that his political and military delegations were ready to organise a meeting. RENAMO and the Mozambican government have been negotiating since the beginning of the year.
