The photo competition wishes to capture people-led initiatives in the sustainable consumption and production of food and energy and encourage people to discover new ways of living. In a creative way, it aims to engage citizens around the world in sharing existing examples in their communities, and, in so doing, allowing these initiatives to resonate and inspire others to change. This is the reason behind its title “Inspire change through your lens”.

Open to amateur and professional photographers alike, the competition aims to engage citizens in contributing to build a strong narrative for change, by highlighting existing alternatives and examples of sustainable living.
