The activity of last Saturday was held in Barrio Müller, a very problematic neighbourhood where people coexist on a daily basis with drugs trafficking, criminals, and skirmishing between neighborhood groups. In this Barrio there is a Neighborhood Center which organizes activities for children, such as soccer, dance, karate, etc., and this is where the first activity was carried out.

Also the Young People for a United World gave their contribution. In recent months, in fact, they have been organizing a theatre play, songs, and games to explain what is the Dice of Peace in a concrete and graphic way that can be understood by children. At the end of the day-long activity they had an afternoon snack together and each participant was given a Dice of Peace to take home, along with an explanation.

But this activity is not over with last Saturday event. This is only the first of six Saturdays in which the Dice of Peace will be introduced, under the same format, to hundreds of children from problematic areas of the city of Cordoba.

The next dates are:
May 12, Barrio Cabildo, from 3 pm to 5 pm.
May 13, Barrio San Roque, from 10 am to 12 am.
June 3, Barrio Arguello Norte, from 10 am to 12 am.
June 8, Barrio Ciudad Evita, from 12 am to 2 pm.
Another Barrio is still to be confirmed as to the exact day and time, next July.

The inauguration will be held in August, on Children’s Day, which is celebrated across Argentina.
