Speaking will be Wael Suleiman, director of Charitas – Jordan, a country that hosts millions of Syrian refugees and he will speak of the commitment for the reconstruction of the zones that suffered the earthquake in Ecuador. Then there will be young people from the offices of fraternity of Campania, those from the field of Legality of Sicily and the Rainbow Association of Lombardy. Not to mention the dozens of actions initiated daily in the prisons, in the railway stations, in the centres of collection and many other places of our cities by the Youth for a United World of the Focolare movement in Italy.

The 2016 edition of the First of May festival in Loppiano will be this and many others. It was created and realised by the youth for the youth, this year it will be entitled FLOW. Start where you are and it will give a voice to the archipelago, of personal and collective initiative that are part of the United World Project, collector and promoter of the actions and projects that make visible the current, “flow”, exactly, that crosses the world under the sign of universal fraternity.

Many musical and artistic contributions of the youth: choreography, music and songs from Italy and the whole world. The international groups Gen Verde and Gen Rosso will also participate with tracks of their repertorio and animation activities.

Also the Festival of First May brings a mark of the United World Week, universal Expo, itinerant of actions of Fraternity, promoted by other 20 years of the Youth for United world. This edition bears the title Link cultures – Un camino para la paz; many manifestations in different countries. In Ecuador, the worldwide centre of this edition, it will purpose to fundraise and reconstruct, with and for the earthquake hit populations.

10.00 → WORLD FLOW – Talents, dances, international music.

11.00 → FLOW – Space to history of reception, fraternity, social and political responsibility in Italy and the world. Music, dance, art and storytelling for a united world.

12.30-15.00 → FLOW EXPO – Interactive tour to the worlds of freternity. Politics, economics, social, arts, culture, nature in the prospective of unity.

15.30-16.30 → FLOW RUN – A marathon of colours, overcoming the obstacles to promote Peace.

17.00 → LET’S BE THE FLOW – Thoughts, words, music and commitment to Peace.
