| | SPARKS: stories of changemakers that walk amongst usUnited World Project is happy to present to you a new podcast: Sparks.
In every new episode we will narrate of stories of changemakers from different parts of the world that gave life to a project, a company or an activity, after being inspired by a "scintilla (spark)": a small light that has influenced many other people. Each one of them will take us to their country, to immerse ourselves in its culture and tell us of how their project started. We do not have to be Greta Thunberg or Gandhi to make way for change. We believe that each one of us can make a difference. Maybe, all that's needed is just a spark.
The podcast is hosted by Russel Gabayeron, Filipino, and Youmna Bouzamel, Lebanese. Russel is a sound engineer and Youmna a translator. Authors of the program are Rita Amidi and Laura Salerno. Editing and sound design were done by Russel Gabayeron. Luisa Rodrigues handled social communication and Pascale Monsef Abboud handled production.

| | The first episode: Giving back to society one jar at a time
| |
| | Giving back to society, one jar at a time. We all have big dreams. That of Mabih was to work at the United Nations, and for years she did everything so that this could come true. But it did not go as she hoped. In 2019, she realized that the dream she was chasing to be able to help others, was maybe her personal desire to be able to assert herself in society. And so, allowing that dream to transform, her life changed in ways she never imagined of.
Today, Nji Mabih is a small businesswoman, she 38 years old and lives in Cameroon. The company she founded is called Mabs and Small Kitchen and produces jams and chocolate spreads at Yaoundé (Cameroon). Mabih is proud of what she was able to build, step by step, working with utmost respect for her clients and employees. Despite the difficulty of someone who immerses themselves in something completely new, Mabih is also convinced of having made the right choice, by opening an activity that today greatly contributes to the society she lives in, thanks to her work and to that of her collaborators. But we won't reveal too much: go listen to her story now!
